PEANUT BUTTER BARS
INGREDIENTS:
1
cup crunchy peanut butter
1
½ cups graham cracker crumbs
1
– 1 lb. box powdered sugar (about 3 ¼ cups)
1
cup melted butter (be sure to use butter and not margarine)
1
- 12 oz. package milk chocolate chips
PREPARATION:
Preheat
oven to 300 degrees. Blend first four ingredients with hands. Depending on how
thick you want the bars to be, pat into a small or medium size cookie sheet
(the kind with sides) that has been sprayed lightly with Pam. Sprinkle
chocolate chips on top. Place pan in oven for about five minutes or just until
chips are soft. Spread the chips evenly over the peanut butter mixture. Place
in the refrigerator until cookies are cooled and the chocolate has set. Let
cookies return to room temperature before slicing into bars.
