DR. PEPPER GRILLED RIBS
INGREDIENTS:

lbs. Baby Back or Spareribs
Grill
Mates Pork Rub
Honey
Barbecue
sauce
Olive
oil

liter Dr. Pepper
Montreal
Steak Seasoning
PREPARATION:
Pour
Dr. Pepper into large pan or kettle, and bring to a boil. Place ribs into the
Dr. Pepper and let low boil for one hour. In large baking dish or pan, place
ribs after boiling and sprinkle with olive oil. Using your fingers, pinch the
pork rub and spread over ribs, rubbing rub into meat and oil. Spoon generous
amount of honey over the meat and rub with fingers until thickened over the
ribs. Add Montreal Steak seasoning to taste. Cover with foil and place in oven
at 210 degrees for five hours.
Remove
ribs from oven and brush generously with barbecue sauce. You can serve it at
this time, or for great taste, put ribs on a hot charcoal grill for 5 to 10
minutes to add the smoky charcoal taste to your ribs.
