pads remove gunk and such from knife blades, but over time can damage the
finish. A better way to keep the finish new on your knives is to use a wine
cork. Simply tilt the blade toward your cutting board and rub the cork over the
knife removing food and scraps, then wash in hot, soapy water with cloth or
soft sponge.
