HOW TO CLEAN YOUR CLAY BAKER

 

Before using your baker, soak both the lid and baker in warm water for 15 minutes then place a piece of parchment paper so that it covers the inside of the baker. Place whatever food ingredients over the parchment paper. This reduces the amount of cleaning of your baker. Since the clay is porous, never use soap and water. Instead, try soaking the baker after it has cooled down from the oven in a baking soda bath in your sink. Never place a hot clay baker in cold water or on a cold surface as it will crack. Always wipe the baker dry and store in a safe place.
